Do not bother
We took the boat (peque peque) tour. It was a short one because we were supposed to go somewhere else on our business trip. So the guy who was taking us for the short tour made a stop at this place. I...
After coming to Pucallpa many times over the years, I finally it made it to La Jungla and I really wish I hadn't. So disappointing to see people so disconnected from what makes their city so special.....
I was terribly disappointed with the conditions here. We were rushed through and it is basically a dirty little zoo with sad animals in tiny, dirty cages.
We took our son there for his birthday. It was about what you would expect from Yarinacocha. Food was average as was the service. The zoo was an extra 3 sole per person. There were quite a few animals...
The place is beautiful, we swim along with dolphins, we walk along with monkeys, camels, lagarts, we saw beautiful wings, all in their natural habitat.
