Take a tile cat car at the gate of Boai Gate, not the south gate. The sightseeing car took half a journey, there was an explanation, and I sat to Jiang Gongxuan. After listening to the explanation, I did not return to Boai Gate with the car. The tie-dyeing experience is very good. Although the Bai grandmother is not good at Mandarin, she is very patient and looks good.
Dali Ancient City is a must-visit attraction. The houses in the ancient city are all old buildings. They are quite distinctive. There are many particularly interesting small shops on Renmin Road. It is quite fun to stroll around. You can go to Wuhua Building and climb the city upstairs to overlook the entire ancient city.
In April, the ancient city of Dali was sunny and the climate was pleasant, which was very suitable for playing. Stepping into the ancient city, it seems to have traveled back to ancient times. The blue stone road is clean and tidy, and the Bai buildings on both sides are scattered. The moths and ink murals show the Bai style. We went to the Documentation Building first, which is magnificent and one of the landmarks of the ancient city, with a historical charm. Then we strolled to Foreigner Street, where there are many Chinese and Western restaurants, cafes and craft shops. Sitting in the cafe on the street, enjoying the afternoon sun, watching the pedestrians coming and going, very comfortable. The food in the ancient city is also endless. The rice noodles across the bridge are refreshing and smooth, and the soup is delicious; the roast milk fan is very special. Although I am not used to eating at first, I feel more and more fragrant. There are also various flower cakes, freshly baked aromas, and a bite of the full flower fragrance. Walking slowly along the street, you can also see some traditional handicraft shops, which are beautifully made and unique in their tie-dyeing and silver jewelry. Walking to the ancient city wall, you can also overlook Cangshan Mountain. The snow on the top of the mountain is shining under the sun, complementing the simplicity of the ancient city. The ancient city at night is another scene. The lights are brilliant, and there are many artists playing and singing on the street, and the songs are melodious. The aroma of the food stalls on the roadside is overflowing, and the various specialty snacks are mouth-watering. We sat for a while in a bistro and felt the lively atmosphere of the ancient city at night. In short, the trip to the ancient city of Dali in April made me full of harvest. Whether it is history and culture, natural scenery or food experience, I have left a deep impression on me. It is a very worthwhile day trip.
Dali Ancient Town is a famous tourist destination in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with rich historical and cultural heritage and beautiful natural scenery. Dali Ancient Town was once the capital of Nanzhao Kingdom and Dali Kingdom. Many ancient buildings and historical sites are preserved in the ancient city, such as Wenxian Building, South City Gate, Foreigner Street, etc., reflecting the cultural characteristics of Bai and other ethnic groups. Dali is a gathering place for Bai people. The Bai architecture, costumes, music, dance and food inside and outside the ancient city are very distinctive, which is very suitable for understanding Bai culture. The pace of life in Dali Ancient Town is slow, which is a good place to relax. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely time here, such as strolling around the ancient city, tasting local food, and taking a break in a cafe or bar. Dali Ancient Town has complete tourist facilities, various grades of accommodation options, as well as a variety of dining and shopping places, which are convenient for tourists to visit and experience.
People yearn for ancient style and charm, and Dali Ancient City is the treasure in your heart. Walking into the south gate of the ancient city is like traveling through a time tunnel, and breathing in the breath of history. Nanzhao culture is rich and colorful. The nine streets and eighteen alleys of the Bai nationality's chessboard-like grid structure not only have well-preserved city gates, city walls, Du Wenxiu's Mansion, Foreigner Street, Martial Arts Temple, Confucian Temple, Jiang Gong Temple and other ancient buildings, but also a variety of traditional handicrafts, which will definitely open your eyes! There are many special foods in the ancient city, such as broken crispy baba, Ersi, three-course tea, etc., or milk fan, every bite is the authentic Yunnan flavor, which will make your taste buds "go astray" instantly.
Dali Ancient Town, no tickets are required. I came in during the day. It is quite big inside, and there are several areas inside. We couldn't find them all. Because I was a team, I was given 2 hours. I think if you want to have a good time, it is best to come in the afternoon and play together in the evening. Only then can you have a good time. I ate beef skewers for 10 yuan and flower cakes for 10 yuan for four. I didn't ask for packaging. After the trip, I bought a box of flower cakes. In comparison, the ones in the ancient town are delicious.
Meet the ancient city of Dali and go on a time appointment "Xiaguan wind, Shangguan flowers, Cangshan snow, Erhai moon", with a yearning for wind, flowers, snow and moon, I stepped into the ancient city of Dali and started a day of exploration. In the morning, the first ray of sunlight sprinkled on the ancient city wall, and I set out from the south gate of the ancient city. The South Gate is majestic and magnificent. After years of baptism, it still exudes a solemn atmosphere. The wind chimes on the tower sway in the wind, and the crisp sound seems to tell the long past of the ancient city. Walking along Fuxing Road, the bluestone road extends under your feet. The street is Bai-style buildings, with flying eaves, brackets, carved beams and painted buildings, and exquisite paintings and wood carvings showing the wisdom and ingenuity of the Bai people. There are a variety of shops, some selling ethnic costumes, handicrafts, and specialty food shops. I walked into a handicraft shop and picked up a few exquisite tie-dyed handkerchiefs. Their unique patterns and colors made me love them. Unconsciously, I came to Wuhua Tower. This historic building was once the place where the King of Nanzhao entertained guests. Climbing up Wuhua Tower, the vision is instantly widened, and the whole ancient city is in full view. The Cangshan Mountain in the distance is rolling, and the top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist; the streets and alleys nearby are crisscrossed, and people come and go, full of the breath of life. Tired of shopping, I sat down in a small shop on the street and ordered a special delicacy-broken crispy baba. The freshly baked baba has a crispy skin and soft inside. There are two kinds of sweet and salty tastes. I chose the sweet taste. I took a bite, and the sweetness of the rose filling spread in my mouth, which was satisfying. There is also a bowl of cold chicken rice noodles. The rice noodles are smooth and the chicken is tender. With a special marinade and rich side dishes, it is sour and spicy and appetizing, and instantly dispels the fatigue of the journey. In the afternoon, I strolled in the Foreigner Street. It is full of exotic atmosphere, with bars, Western restaurants, and many small shops opened by foreigners. I walked into a cafe, ordered a cup of fragrant coffee, sat by the window, looked at the pedestrians outside the window, and enjoyed this leisurely afternoon. As night fell, the ancient city took on a different look. The lights came on, and the red lanterns on both sides of the street lit up one after another, decorating the ancient city particularly charmingly. Renmin Road was bustling, and street artists played guitars and sang beautiful folk songs, attracting many tourists to stop and listen. I shuttled among the crowd, feeling the bustle and vitality of the ancient city. Dali Ancient City, it has both a profound historical and cultural heritage and a modern atmosphere of life. Here, I slowed down and felt the tenderness of time. Although this day's trip was short, it made me fall deeply in love with this ancient city and look forward to meeting it again next time.
