Monastery of St John
What a fabulous place to visit, breathtaking as you wind your way up to the top were you find the monastery, parking is adjacent on the road which leads there. Beautiful buildings and history, lots of...
Beatiful view from top of the hill
Beatifull place on top of the hill. There is small museum, but the best is nice view from my point of view.
High point of a cycle ride
Reached the monastery after cycling from Skala Eresos via Sigri. Quite a climb from the coast but worth it for the views and then the descent back to Eresos.
Out of time
The museum is still in operation, the museum is the tour of the old manuscripts and the pieces of the orfebriry.
