Hengshan House is a wealthy merchant from the Edo era and is now a recycled paper wholesaler of "Matsuya". Hengshan's residence has a remarkable feature, the doorway facing the street is declining, becoming a form of welcoming guests from below, known as the performance of welcoming customers. Hengshan family has a pillar, which still has the knife marks of the late Shogunate war, which can be seen at the time of the riots at the end of the Shogunate.
