Styrian Armory

The Armory is known as the largest museum of weaponry history in the world. The armory has five floors. There are statues of the god of war and the god of war art standing at the entrance. The exhibits include armor, swords, guns and other more than 32,000 weapons used in past wars. The wooden structure of the museum, the wooden ceilings, floors and walls absorb a lot of moisture, allowing these ancient weapons to retain their original appearance. Due to its location at the forefront of Europe, Graz has always been a battleground for military strategists. At the end of the 15th century, Graz faced the great threat of the Turkish Empire, and began to gradually organize the construction and storage of various weapons. In 1642, Antonisola established an arsenal to provide weapon support for the growing military needs at that time, and later gradually developed into its current size. The exhibits here are based on quantity. There are thousands of armors alone, and there are hundreds of identical weapons.
