Behind the dormitory building near Zhouzui Park, Guangzhou Bolou is a European-style house built from the end of Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. It was named after the weather forecast signal station built by customs for merchant ships. It not only witnessed the development of Guangzhou shipping history and customs history, but also witnessed the changes of Guangzhou Sanghai Putian over the past century. Now it is just a plaque with cultural relics but is lived in an ordinary building by 72 tenants.

This is a magnificent red brick building, the official name of the Republic of China is "Guangdong Customs Club", once a landmark on the south bank of the Pearl River. That year, after the signing of the Maguan Treaty, the UK fully controlled the Guangdong Customs, because of the large number of foreigners in the customs, built a place for them to play, including fireplaces, restaurants, ballrooms, library. Now, the Bolou has become a customs staff dormitory.
The official name of the old Bolou is the Guangdong Customs Club.
A beautiful building, formerly a customs club, with a cornerstone inside, proved to be built during the Guangxu years.
