After exiting the main gate, you can take a sightseeing bus to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area. For the second half of Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, do not enter through the main gate. Instead, go up the stairs on the left to the turnstile entrance. Follow the signs, passing the wooden boardwalk → fruit stalls → customer service center → green iron gate. After that, the path is one-way, so you won’t get lost. You will pass attractions such as "Bridge on Bridge," "Tianxing Cave," "Water Spouting Pool," "Chain Pendant Pool Waterfall," and "Stone Forest on Water." The entire route takes about 2 to 3 hours. 📝 Tips: ① The Tianxingqiao route is long with many ups and downs, which can be tiring. Depart from Guiyang North in the morning, take the high-speed train for half an hour to Anshun West Station. Tianxingqiao Scenic Area is located downstream of the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area and consists of the Natural Bonsai Area, Tianxing Cave Scenic Area, and Water Stone Forest Scenic Area. The main attractions include Shushengbu, Tianxing Cave, Meinvrong, Maoshuitan, and others. The Tianxingqiao Scenic Area integrates the essence of karst landforms, with Shushengbu combining mountains, water, forests, caves, roots, vines, stones, and waterfalls. The Natural Bonsai Area is about 800 meters long, located on the surface of a 500-meter-long underground river and the west side of the riverbank. There are various natural rock and water stone bonsai. A 3,000-meter stone path winds through stone walls, stone ditches, and stone crevices, meandering over the bonsai. The Tianxing Bonsai Area also features natural landscapes such as Meinvrong, Xianshan Qunzhang, Waishu Shi, Panda Hugging Bamboo, and Eagle Spreading Wings. Shushengbu is the first attraction when entering Tianxingqiao. Here, there are stones in the water, water in the stones, trees growing on the stones, and blooming lotuses in the water. The stones underfoot are scattered in the water, forming 365 stepping stones, which coincide with the annual cycle. Each stepping stone is engraved with a date, and we follow the guide's instructions to find our birthday and take photos as a souvenir. Hence, it is named 'Shushengbu,' also known as 'Lotus Steps.' Ceshenyan is a pass known as 'Big Belly Difficult to Pass.' It is said that the 10th Panchen Lama, who was quite fat, easily passed through this pass by using his 'abdominal contraction' skill when he visited Tianxing Scenic Area in the 1980s. In 1997, André Milongo, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Congo, also passed through this pass with his 'big belly.' Meinvrong is a representative natural landscape of root-hugging stone in the scenic area. This rock, like a sculptor, continuously controls and sculpts the growth of the banyan tree roots with its hard body, forcing them to develop strictly according to the curves of the human body, with appropriate thickness and fullness, eventually forming a figure resembling a beautiful woman. Tianxing Lake and Gao Laozhuang are places where the village is in the lake, and the lake is in the village, existing as one. The still lake water reflects several ancient-style buildings with flying eaves, carved beams, and painted rafters, creating a poetic and picturesque scene.
