It is within walking distance from Himi Station on the JR Himi Line through the residential area. Because it was a weekday, no one was visiting and I was able to take a quiet walk. The main hall and the Kannon-do at the end of the stairs all have an old temple-like atmosphere and make you feel solemn.

A little over 10 minutes walk from Himi station. It is a temple on the hillside of Mt. Asahi, and it will be the 23rd place to visit the 33 Kannon sacred places in Hokuriku. The large ginkgo tree at the entrance of the precincts is impressive. I feel the history of this temple, which is estimated to be about 1,000 years old.
