It is an experience-based environmental facility attached next to the garbage incinerator. There are exhibits about global warming, the history of Kawasaki's environmental policy, and the eco-friendly that can be done at home. Access is bad, but I think it is a facility that children will be happy with in a facility where they can enjoy learning eco.
You can see the departure and arrival of Haneda Airport on the opposite bank in front of you. Since it is an eco-living building, you can see various efforts by using a solar power generation system and Kawasaki's efforts, so I think it is a good social studies tour.
In addition to the garbage disposal tour, you can also see the departure and landing at Haneda Airport up close. Especially the aerial photos of Kawasaki City on the 1 floor are real and you won't get tired of seeing them. It's a little far, but it's worth a visit.
Located on a floating island in Kawasaki City, next to the Ukishima Treatment Center of the City Environment Bureau. You can learn various things about the environment, such as garbage treatment, circulation, solar power generation, and global warming countermeasures. Access can be reached by municipal bus except for private cars. Open at 9 am until 16:30. Closed on Mondays. Admission is free.
It is a facility with free admission where you can learn about the general ecosystem. We also explain the history of Kawasaki's pollution and our efforts to tackle it. There is also a free regular guided tour, and if you are interested, you may want to use it.
