It's a fairly old shrine.

It is located along the street from Prefectural Road 66 to the zoo side. There are quite wide stone steps, there are splendid trees around the middle, and if you go up to the left, you will find Miwa Shrine, and if you go up to the right, you will find Nishinomiya Shrine. 1The problem was about the parking lot. There is no parking space in the neighborhood, and I dare say that I will park in a small space beside the elementary school on the opposite side of the street, but from now on, I will visit the shrine while violating parking. Also What about a person? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
A venerable shrine built during the Nara period. The main shrine with copper roofs, Kagura hall, and stone torii gates were wonderful. I couldn't see many tourists, probably because it was after mid-January.
I went by bicycle rental from Kiryu station. It is next to Kiryu Park. The giant tree next to the torii gate on the side of the road was wonderful. If you climb the approach to the right of this giant tree, you will find Nishinomiya Shrine, and on your left is Miwa Shrine. It was a little off the center, well maintained and quiet precincts.
It is a shrine at the foot of Oka Park, about a 30-minute walk from Kiryu Station. Nishinomiya Shrine, which is an old shrine of Engishikiuchi Shrine in Ueno Province, is more famous as a shrine built as a shrine in the precincts. Some young locals know Nishinomiya Shrine but don't know the name of Miwa Shrine. When I was a child, I always passed by here when Kiryu went to Oka Zoo by bicycle, but it was a shrine that I didn't care about at all other times except for "Kiryu Apology Ko" in November.
