Sharing my travel experiences in Thailand
Flight✈️: Choosing a direct flight is very relaxing, and the prices vary. Most tourists will first arrive in Bangkok and then transfer to domestic flights within Thailand. As for the price, there are several direct flight routes between China and Thailand. For example, Hainan Airlines, Air China, and China Southern Airlines offer cheaper prices the earlier you book, with more time slots available. Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways have direct flights that require good price references, but these two airlines are Thailand's prestigious carriers, offering spacious and comfortable seating😌. Then there are connecting flights, with Macau and Cathay Pacific being highly recommended for their ample space, numerous flights, and included meals that are especially delicious . Next are the budget airlines, such as Thai Vietjet, Nok Air, and Asia Air, which offer no water, no meals, and cramped red-eye flights.
Shopping: In Bangkok, you can find almost anything you want. Brand names are all in the city center, with a plethora of large shopping malls where you can also get tax refunds. For tax refund documents under 5000 baht, you no longer need to get a stamp at the airport and queue; you can directly take the document to get the refund. However, the amount is not that significant. For local products, you can choose King Power or Big C supermarkets, which also offer tax refunds for purchases over 2500 baht per receipt.
Island Hopping: Skip Phuket and Krabi, as they are crowded, expensive, and you might get ripped off by fellow countrymen! Consider Koh Samui or Koh Lipe instead, where the scenery is pleasant, but prices are slightly higher. For scuba diving, head to Koh Tao, accessible by speedboat from Koh Samui. For snorkeling, Koh Lipe is unbeatable, with the most beautiful coral reefs in Asia, a diver's paradise!
Dining: Thai food is not expensive, although the portions might be small. The key is that the prices are low, so ordering more is definitely not a problem. Chinese food is generally not very authentic, unless you are in Bangkok, where there are many good Chinese restaurants. Western food is also a main feature, as there are many foreign tourists, making Western restaurants popular. However, everyone knows that foreigners tend to order less and spend more time dining, so the restaurants may not earn much! There are night markets everywhere, which are a good choice for us, offering a variety of options, avoiding the issue of different tastes, and the prices are definitely cheap enough to make you cry. In Bangkok, you can also dine in malls, where the food courts offer reasonable prices.
Transportation in Thailand: Bangkok has severe traffic jams, so if you know some English, it's recommended to use the subway, which is fast and convenient. If you are on an island, you can take a taxi; hotels usually have taxis available at the entrance, but remember that taxis don't use meters and you need to bargain. You can also rent a motorcycle, which costs a few hundred baht per day and is popular among most foreigners. Lastly, there are tuk-tuks and motorcycle taxis, which are more dangerous and also require bargaining!
Entertainment: Thailand is a tourist country, and visitors come here with different purposes. Some love outdoor activities, such as swimming, hiking, diving🤿, etc., and island hopping can make such trips more enriching. You can also enjoy a local day tour on the islands and have a lot of fun. Other tourists come for shopping and leisure, which can be done in Bangkok. Bangkok is more concentrated and has the most suitable prices! For those who enjoy the nightclub culture, Bangkok is the place to be, you know what I mean😏, no need to elaborate!
Currency Exchange: It's recommended to exchange currency in your home country before traveling abroad, as the exchange rate is not as good locally. The best currency exchange bank in Thailand is the green SuperRich, but even their rates are lower than in China. It's more favorable to have US dollars.
These are my recent experiences in Thailand, and I hope friends who enjoy it will follow me! I will share more travel insights later

The sea is very beautiful, there are many diving schools. When we go, we go to learn diving. The people there are very kind, very fun, have been 4 times and this April is about to go again.
Come for the first time, it is considered very good. Like the people's atmosphere Food is ok, the beach is very beautiful, this sand is very fine, soft white like powder, I like it very much, but taking a boat is quite long for us. And even more a person who is a drunk car, seasick

Taodao, also known as Turtle Island, is a very beautiful island, mainly diving, water quality is very good. Usually from Bangkok or Chiang Mai to Taodao Island are combined transport by car and ship. It takes nearly a day to go by Chunpeng or Sumatani. Consumption on Taodao Island is not high. The average person who eats in a small restaurant is 100 baht. It's very convenient to study diving in Taodao. You can get an OW diving Certificate in four days and an AOW diving Certificate in two days.
The difference between Taodao and Sumei islands is that more tourists come to Taodao to dive. Taodao Island is not as lively as Sumei Island, but the people here are kind and friendly, and there are more than 100 submarine schools on the island, especially non-local people, like a small United Nations. There are many other islands near Taodao, and the potential is often near other islands. The black cats here are said to be the more feline animals on the island, and there are not many other places. Let's have a look. The only small disadvantage is that it's a little far from Bangkok. It's more than eight hours of combined transportation by train and ship, plus domestic flights to Bangkok.
