Kosaka mine started in the late Edo period, mining silver, copper and gold. It now operates as refinery, refining recycled cell phones, etc.

文明開化の最先端、小坂の町のシンボル。旧小坂鉱山事務所。壮麗な建築で、ルネッサンス様式のオフィスビル。共通券を購入して見学。螺旋階段やサラセン風のバルコニーが見所。所長室も要見学です。

なぜだか？こちらの施設が好きです。昔、鉱山で栄えていた小坂町が夜も東京のように明るく栄えていた時代にロマンを感じます。その時代に戻って、見てみたいといつも感じます。小坂に行くと、いつも行ってしまいます。
