I climbed to the top of the mountain by the ropeway of Mt. Honshirane and walked along the promenade to reach the mirror pond in about an hour and a half. It is a pond where you can see the turtle shell bottom beautifully.

Since the ropeway had stopped since November 4th, I walked along the Fukihara pond course and stopped at Kagamiike and climbed Motoshirane Mountain. Mt. Kusatsu Shirane is off limits due to the eruption level raised, but Motoshirane can enter. The autumn leaves were over on the upper side. There was no one because it was a weekday.

After seeing the autumn leaves of Mt. Shirane, go down to the other side and there is Kagamiike. You can go around the pond, which is a good walking course. Please be careful as there are some places where the foothold is a little bad.

I ate a lunch here during the walk on the Honshirane course. There are no shades because there are no big trees, but it is very cool because the altitude is high.

Clouds tend to come out in the afternoon, so we recommend that there is little AM wind. When there is a wind, the mountains of the Togakushi mountain range and the trees 々 reflected like a mirror on the surface of the lake do not look beautiful.
