Not sure a gravel pullout, a couple benches, and a historic marker make for a destination in itself, but it is okay to see if you are passing through Castalia anyway. Pond is actually quite small and ...
They no longer allow you to feed the ducks/geese at the pond. The village is more interested in keeping the water fowl off the football field than encouraging tourism.
This is not a large pond, and most folks would probably not consider it worth a special trip. But if you're passing through, it's very near the two main arteries through town and it's a pleasant thing...
Very neat place & relaxing place to watch wild life about you & clean place.Amazeing what plants you can see along its banks,flowers,cat tails, alot varitys of folage.
