Statue of the soldier in charge
A statue of the warrior who said, "build me a castle", not the architect or the builders. I don't feel it really adds anything to the park. At least the pose is more dynamic than the lifeless Kichi Se...
Sengoku daimyo (Japanese territorial Lord in the Sengoku period)
Original Text
The warlord built in front of the Otemon gate of Matsue Castle is a statue of Yoshiharu Horio. He is a warlord who served Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi and advanced. Due to the distinguished service of Sekigahara, he became a daimyo with 240,000 stones in Izumo and Oki, and built Matsue Castle. It's a Sengoku romance.
It's in a prominent place near the entrance of Matsue Castle, so you can easily see it. Because it is in this location, if you think it is an important person, it is said that he built Matsue Castle. I didn't know, but I found that I was quite 々 and loved.
This statue is at the entrance to Matsue Castle from the parking lot. It was a brave figure with a sword swinging. It seems that he built Matsue Castle, but since the sword points in the direction of Matsue Castle, it seems to attack Matsue Castle.
Yoshiharu Horio is a military commander who built Matsue Castle. This statue was built on the site of the Otemon gate in 2013. The right hand with a stick is raised above, which shows the appearance of commanding the construction of Matsue Castle and the castle town. It seems that he was active as a retainer of Oda Nobunaga and Hideyoshi Toyotomi, but for Matsue's people 々, he must have been the person who built Matsue Castle.
