Junglia Okinawa Theme Park Review: A Paradise of Fun, Food, and Relaxation
Dear friends, I just had an incredible adventure! I was invited to the grand opening of Junglia Okinawa, where I experienced its attractions and facilities firsthand. I’m excited to share everything I discovered at this amazing park. If you’re looking for a unique experience in #Japan that blends thrilling rides, serene spas, and tropical vibes, Junglia Okinawa is a must-visit destination. Located in the heart of Okinawa, this park isn’t just massive, it’s a whole universe of adventure and escape.
🎡 Attractions: Thrills for Every Age
Junglia Okinawa features 22 different attractions, and I was lucky enough to visit on a press day where some were specially opened for preview. While the most thrilling rides clearly steal the show, what really impressed me was how well-balanced the park is there’s truly something for everyone.
There were many families visiting the day I went, and seeing how much fun both kids and adults were having added to the vibrant atmosphere. My personal favorite was Boogie Voltage, a unique ride where you actually drive a buggy through a tropical jungle.
🍣 Food & Snacks: A Delicious Journey
One of the things that truly surprised me at Junglia was the quality of the food, very insta friendly. The restaurants and food stands are varied and beautifully decorated ! As you’ll see in the photos, the attention to detail in both design and presentation is impressive. I personally tried one of the gourmet hamburgers, and I have to say it was outstanding.
💆 Spa & Relaxation: Tropical Zen (and a World Record!)
Now this is where things get truly mind-blowing : Junglia’s spa, known as SPA Junglia, holds the Guinness World Record for the largest infinity pool in the world ! Yes, you read that right. This massive public bath offers breathtaking views over the jungle canopy, creating a surreal contrast between the stillness of the water and the wild nature beyond.
What I absolutely loved is how well thought out the timing is. The spa stays open later than the rest of the park, so you don’t have to sacrifice ride time to enjoy the spa — you can simply head there afterwards and let your body relax in warm waters with the jungle as your backdrop.

We had a mixed experience at Junglia Okinawa. Some attractions were really exciting, and the park’s jungle adventure concept is fun, especially if you enjoy nature-themed activities. However, there were long wait times and limited shaded/rest areas, and parts of the visit felt a bit disorganized at times. Great for thrill seekers or families who don’t mind a bit of walking and heat, but plan ahead for food/rest breaks.
Wonderful places and good service.Thank you for nanami introduction for me,She is really good service and amazing,l will come back next year!
I really enjoyed this park. I only wish I could have taken my phone on the more thrilling rides. But the food was delicious and this place is absolutely beautiful! We will definitely come back!
Opened in July, suitable for 🈴 families or couples. 【Cost-effective】High!
The park opens in July. It is worth a trip for parents, families and couples.
I thought my trip to Jurassic Park in Okinawa would be a sour memory due to the chaotic management. The tickets for the popular attractions sold out as soon as they opened, making our early morning rush seem like a joke. The lack of a proper dining area was a shame for the food, which was beyond our expectations. We waited in line for the off-road vehicle after midnight [facepalm]. I only did this one ride the entire morning, and I wanted to hit someone! I felt bad for bringing my kids to this kind of trouble, even though I'd already been to summer camp once [embarrassing]. I was so frustrated by my decision. The moment I entered Spa Junglia, my resentment seemed to evaporate with the steam. "World's only extravagant attraction" was truly a joke! I had thought I'd just cut my losses after the hot springs, but the popular safari turned out to be the biggest surprise. The moment we climbed onto the tour bus, the Jurassic World of the movie suddenly came alive—dinosaurs roared from deep within the jungle. When we saw the scene where a soldier was devoured by a dinosaur, my heart nearly leaped out of my chest! The realistic movements, roaring sound effects, and the staff's all-out performance made me grip the handrails tightly, holding my breath, speechless with awe. Even luckier, we caught the penultimate show. At the end, the staff smiled and said, "You can do it again." It was like finding an Easter egg! During the second ride, I focused on details I hadn't caught before: the texture of the dinosaurs' skin, the hidden traps in the jungle, and the thrilling "swallowing scene." I was even more captivated. At 7:30, fireworks suddenly exploded over the park. My child and I, in the safari bus, looked up and exclaimed in amazement. Perfect! This trip, which was nearly doomed to be overwhelmed by negative reviews, was ultimately redeemed by the warmth of the hot springs, the awe of the safari, and the dazzling display of fireworks. Perhaps imperfection is the norm in travel, but it is these unexpected highlights that make memories particularly vivid - it turns out that the four words "worth the trip" have always been hidden at the corner of "almost giving up".
Jurassic Park is a perfect location in Okinawa, with its lush forests and dense jungles, offering a thrilling and exciting experience. The dinosaur sofa offers an immersive experience reminiscent of the film. The plot is thrilling, the staff is dedicated, and the experience is captivating. There's even an Easter egg at the end, but I won't reveal it for your convenience. October in Okinawa still sees temperatures of 35°C, so be prepared. The park also thoughtfully provides free umbrellas. The dishes at the Bird's Nest Restaurant are exquisite, perfect for photo opportunities. As the world's only Jurassic Park, it's well worth a visit. Arriving early in the morning to avoid long lines is recommended.
The staff were enthusiastic, and the activities were fun and engaging.
