I flew to Nanjing alone for this golden palace without stepping on any landmines
After visiting Nanjing a few years ago, it was all about the Qinhuai River, Confucius Temple, and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum.
Recently, I suddenly learned that there is a golden palace on Niushou Mountain🏛
Without any hesitation, I bought a plane ticket✈️ and went straight to it upon arrival in Nanjing.
Being there in person, I have to exclaim, it really didn't disappoint, so worth it❗️
The roof, reflected in the pool, looks like a golden durian.
The interior has three levels above and four below, revealing a universe of its own⚜️Splendid and magnificent!

✅Check-in spots
Although the ticket is not cheap, there were quite a few people even during the off-season. If you want to capture the scenery without crowds, be sure to pick a sunny day and go early, then take the shuttle bus straight to the Buddha Palace on the mountain. In this way, the palace shines more under the clear blue sky. Also, the soft glow of the sunset🌅 is very charming.
❶In front of the water pool at Buddha Palace
To capture the whole 'durian', the best spot is in front of the water pool to the far left of the Buddha Palace. However, a windless sunny day is also important, as the reflection will ripple if it's windy. The pool is the essence of outdoor photography, all thanks to its mirror effect.
❷Hongjue Temple Pagoda
Standing at the main entrance of the Buddha Palace, facing the Hongjue Temple Pagoda on the mountain, you can frame both the Hongjue Temple Pagoda and the Buddha Palace in one shot📷
❸Buddha Top Pagoda
At the pool on the right side of the Buddha Palace, close to the mountain, you can frame both the Buddha Top Pagoda and the Buddha Palace, but be mindful of the backlight.
❹Zen Scenery View
The purple palace, with a large Buddha lying on a lotus platform, is very spectacular, and you must take a wide-angle shot!
❺Sarira Hall
Truly splendid and magnificent, you can take a wide-angle shot in the corner of the hall, or go upstairs to the viewing platform for an overhead shot.
💛Of course, there are many exquisite details inside the palace that are worth savoring. I spent 4 hours just taking a general photo of the inside and outside of the Buddha Palace. If you want to understand its history and culture, you need to reserve more time.
Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area is worth visiting in autumn, with fluttering maple leaves dancing in red, ginkgo leaves coming into view, lake light, mountain scenery, redwoods, bridges, pavilions, tower shadows, Buddhist palaces, etc. complementing each other, gorgeous and colorful, like a moving picture scroll.
Niu Shou Mountain, located in the southern suburbs of Nanjing, is a famous mountain with a long history and profound cultural heritage. It is named because of the two peaks on the top of the mountain, which are shaped like a bull's head and two horns. It is also known as "Tian Que Mountain" because the prime minister Wang Dao of the Eastern Jin Dynasty cleverly described the scenery as "Tian Que". Niu Shou Mountain not only has beautiful natural scenery and different scenery in four seasons, but also attracts much attention because of its long history of Buddhist culture. There are many ancient temples in the mountain, and the Buddha's Palace is magnificent and magnificent. It enshrines the skull relic of Sakyamuni Buddha and is an important place for Buddhist believers to make pilgrimages. In addition, Niu Shou Mountain also carries a rich history and culture. The two tombs of the Southern Tang Dynasty and Yue Fei's anti-Jin fortress are scattered throughout the mountain, witnessing the long history and unique status of Niu Shou Mountain. Visiting Niu Shou Mountain, you can not only appreciate its beautiful natural scenery, but also deeply feel its profound cultural heritage and the solemnity and mystery of Buddhist culture. In short, Niu Shou Mountain is a famous mountain that combines natural scenery, Buddhist culture and historical culture, and it is worth a visit.
At first I thought the ticket price was not worth the walk to the back. The further I walked, the more I thought it was breathtaking and magnificent. My mouth was wide open the whole time. The scenery was beautiful and perfect for taking photos. The Flying Bodhisattva Gate was particularly amazing.
Although the tickets are expensive, they are really good value for money. The shock of the blockbuster, the Buddha Tower, the Thousand Buddha Hall, the Wanfo Gallery, and the reclining Buddha are all very beautiful and beautiful. It is a day that it is too expensive to climb the steps after taking the elevator. It is so tired. 😂😂😂 On the way back to Xi'an by high-speed rail from Nanjing, I also photographed Niushou Mountain 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Niushoushan is still worth it. The weather is relatively last month, and the temperature has eased. We arrived there at 1 pm. I listened to my classmates' suggestions. I took a taxi to the west gate. It is worth happy that Niushoushan elderly people are 69 years old. It is free, so parents are free. 1.4 Children below are also free, so their daughter is also free. I bought a day ticket for 160 yuan to enter the park. We bought a shuttle bus for 10 yuan per person. The reminder is that children below 1.4 do not need tickets, because my classmates said they need it, I bought it, and when I arrived, The broadcast has always said that 1.4 below the meter does not need to buy tickets, and there is no purchase when you come back. You can know this in advance. You can take a photo here in Golden Durian. Many beautiful women wear beautiful clothes to let the photographer take pictures. Follow the large army to see the earth palace. The scene is very spectacular. I really have to go to the scene to experience this feeling, and then went to see the sleeping Buddha, and finally left a shadow in the Buddha Palace. The whole was very smooth. When I arrived at the door, the taxi driver took the order immediately and returned to the hotel happily.
I recommend everyone to go, the scenery on the mountain is beautiful, the Buddha Palace is also beautiful, I like to take pictures 📸 I can make a film, don't forget to go to the Digong to see, I feel very shocking, at least I have not seen it in other places in China, I have the opportunity to go again
Man-made modern Buddhist palace-Buddhist Palace, large scale, beautifully built, dedicated to Buddha Sherizi, it is worth seeing, the surrounding natural landscape is general, there are many photography check-in points in the Buddha Palace, suitable for photography lovers! Believers will have regrets when they go, and they are not allowed to worship incense. Although there are many visitors, they lack the incense and fire, and they can only look at it! It is a modern Buddhist hall, which can be appreciated as an excellent architectural art work, and lacks historical heritage! Tickets are 160 yuan, although expensive but still worth a visit, especially for people interested in Buddhist culture, architectural art, photography!
