It is a temple that became a model of Tsukishuji Temple that appears in "Spring Snow", a part of the fertility sea, a legacy of Yukio Mishima. It is a temple that stands further away from the end of Kyoto, where Mr. Mishima himself visited when writing. The gate is usually closed and cannot be entered, but the road leading to the mountain gate is close to the play, reminiscent of the climax of the novel. I think it's a place worth visiting once.
