It is a monument commemorating the birthplace of Braille blocks, which are now commonly installed. It was installed along the sidewalk and consisted of ３ monuments and explanation boards. It seems that it was developed because there is a school for the blind nearby. Although there is a lot of traffic in cars, there are few people on the sidewalk during the day, so if you didn't mind, you would probably pass by.

　The place where the Braille block for the visually impaired was installed for the first time on the sidewalk. １９６７ Year ３ Moon ３ Moon １８ Day, this day is certified as "Braille Block Day". The site is the former national highway ２, and now the national highway ２５０ Haraojima intersection, and there is still a lot of traffic in the car. There is a prefectural Okayama blind school nearby, and it is said that the inventor of Okayama city devised it for the students crossing the pedestrian crossing.
