Sue enemy な Museum
Original Text
Since I was planning to stay in Sendai for a long time, I saw it with the old Araikan and the garden, which is famous as the oldest existing school building in Japan. I like history and I don't have eyes on exhibitions related to medieval history, but I was only interested in swords and wasn't so detailed, but I enjoyed it very much. More than 80% of the exhibits are swords, which show how the origin of swords, especially Japanese swords, was born and spread. The original sword and necessities of Ezo ...
The signboard said 300 yen, but it was 500 yen uniform. Besides, photography was prohibited and there were few types of swords, so it was the worst museum I've ever said. It's better not to go.
It is a small private museum specializing in Japanese swords diagonally opposite the Yubikan. I feel that it is irresistible for people who like this kind of thing. After visiting the Yubikan, you may want to stop by to kill time while waiting for the train.
Even though the space was small, everything from hand swords to modern sword craftsmen was exhibited, and we took a closer look while listening to the director's story. The women who thought they were staff members are students of the sword course, and they are working together with the director and deputy director. Since I am an amateur, it was easy to understand as if I was listening to Grandpa's old story without using esoteric terms. The drawback is that the number of trains is small.
Compared to the admission fee, the exhibition space was small, the explanation of the sword was also corrected by hand, and the staff were chatting, which made me not very impressed. It may be fun for people who are familiar with swords and learn about history.
