the former 'Portào Monumental' of the arsenal
The most conspicuous building on attractive Praça do Arsenal in Recife Antigo is the 'Torre Malakoff'. It is an about 30m high square tower with an arched gate and a few arched windows, a bit similar ...
disappointing
only thing to see is a room of paintings. cannot go into the tower. luckily it's free but the sign in takes longer then looking at the paintings
