This is the first time I have seen three-dimensional four gods, Genbu, Seiryu, Suzaku, and White Tiger up close.
Original Text
Many crafts related to the four gods "Genbu, Seiryu, Suzaku, and White Tiger" remain in shrines around Japan, but many of them are seen in a flat form such as [painting] or [Four Gods flag]. I think. I saw only 2ケ places in the three-dimensional form of [Kanda Myojin / Suijinmon (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo)] and [Toranomon Kin-Ragu / Copper Torii (Minato Ward, Tokyo)]. In the sense that you can appreciate the three-dimensional four gods so close (see attached photo) The four ... remaining in this shrine.

A shrine opposite the Iwatsuki Local Museum. The precincts are small and small, but it is an old shrine built as the guardian deity of the city in 1560 during the Muromachi period. There is a rikiishi in the precincts.
There is a slide on the premises ... There is a main hall in front of you. It doesn't feel like people worship, but it feels like you can easily enter the premises. The silence is good.
One of the special exhibition halls of iwatsuki Machikado Hina Festival

It is one of the special exhibition venues for the Iwatsuki Machikado Hina Festival. The building is a building like a local meeting place. In addition to the Hina dolls, the portable shrines and the four gods caught my eye. The holy beast that protects the four directions of the world, the blue dragon in the east, the Suzaku in the south, the white tiger in the west, and the Genbu in the north were a little grotesque.
It is across the road from the Iwatsuki Local Museum. The design of the guardian dog and Chozuya was quite unique. Although it is a historic shrine, the hall of worship, which was rebuilt in the Meiji era, stood quietly. The precincts seem to be open as a children's playground.
