    People watching plaza, for sure!

    Gotta love the locals hanging out in and around the main square. Beautiful trees, park benches full of the men in their hats, scarves hanging over their shoulders...families meandering about, vendors...

    Not spoilt by many tourists, very charming lively village, with a beautiful central square where you find some simple places to eat. We liked Salamina much better than the very touristy nearby Salent...

    Friendly people.

    The only bad thing is the curse of motorcycles, unmuffled and racing around the plaza and town. Hard of hearing or earplugs a must.
