This small village is in a green valley where sugar cane is grown and is about an hour’s drive from Tegucigalpa city and is famous for the wall paintings. There is also a public bus but it is rather slow and most of the time crowded.There are also some restaurants and a small hotel. There are five different places with swimming pools. On weekends there are many day tourists who escape the city and enjoy life here. The climate is tropical and in summer rather hot but good for swimming. Best time to visit is between November and February.
