    It's an average cathedral....nothing too special at all! It was closed so you couldn't go inside it.

    Local Cathedral

    Savonlinna Cathedral in Evangelical-Lutheran church. The cathedral was consecrated on 1879. The Cathedral was damaged during air raid in 1940, but reconstructed.

    Stay away

    Serious, somebody put this on trip advisor as something interesting to see... door was closed, very mediocre church on the outside and I have no clue why I wasted my energy waking up to this place.

    The organconcert of midday gives you a good possibility for rest in the midst of all the rush dooing good for your mind.

    Not worth a detour

    If you are in the area drop in, it is very plain and simple but a nice atmosphere. If the organist is playing it is much better.
