Shanghai Botanical Garden, formerly known as Longhua Nursery, is located in the southwest of Xuhui District, Shanghai. It is bounded by Longwu Road in the east, Longchuan Road in the west, Pingfu Road in the south, and Zhangjiatang Port in the north. It covers an area of 81.86 hectares and is a comprehensive botanical garden focusing on plant introduction, domestication and display, horticultural research and popular science education. The botanical garden is open for free. Take advantage of the weekend to bring your family to enjoy the autumn scenery. Gate 4 is close to the subway station. There are several parking spaces at the door but not many! Green travel is not bad! The robot coffee at the entrance of Gate 4 is very cost-effective, as long as 9.7 a cup, it tastes good! There are bicycles and boats rented in the botanical garden, and the rest benches can be seen everywhere. If you are tired, you can stop and rest for a while! There is a large lawn near the artificial lake, you can put a picnic mat, and enjoy the scenery while eating food! There are Guihuayuan and bamboo gardens in Gate 3. The whole garden is very large. It takes3-4 hours to visit all of them!
Recently, the North District was newly opened. Gate 4 of the park entered. There are greenhouses and lakes. The South District is larger. Tickets are collected in the bonsai garden, orchid garden, and the rest are free. Pink Dai chaos grass and sunflowers near the science building are worth taking pictures and punching in!
Shanghai's oldest botanical garden, the park covers a wide area, a variety of plants, the four seasons of flowers are constantly blooming, the annual spring international flower exhibition, combined with landscape design, flower path and other activities, attracts many tourists to visit here.
