But the highlight of the day was the gift she picked out herself at one of the shops on our way out of the park. Seeing that pure joy in her eyes was priceless. This is exactly why we go on family trips. Sometimes, the most important promises just have to be kept. Today, one of those promises turned into a lifelong, beautiful memory. We walked a total of 22,249 steps for the day, and on the way back Ksenia fell asleep on the subway❤️ A few tips: you can refill your water at special fountains in the park.
