Shanghai in January

My trip to Shanghai this January was nothing short of magical! From the moment I checked into my hotel overlooking the Bund, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience. Strolling along the Bund, I was mesmerized by the blend of colonial architecture and futuristic skyscrapers.
The highlight of my trip was visiting the Shanghai Tower. The panoramic views from the observation deck were breathtaking. Pudong’s modern marvels, including the World Financial Center, were awe-inspiring.
Shopping at SHS fashion mall was an adventure in itself, and I scored some unique finds. I treated myself to a relaxing spa session before my flight, making sure I left Shanghai completely rejuvenated.
Overall, Shanghai dazzled me with its vibrant blend of tradition and modernity. The food, culture, and sights were unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return!
That was outstanding! My city doesn’t have a buildings like that. Oriental Pearl Tower has become one of my favorite buildings - don’t know why but lt attracts me so much.
The Shanghai World Financial Center is one of Shanghai's landmark buildings. Its appearance is simple, elegant and modern, and its unique shape stands out among the Lujiazui buildings. The internal facilities are advanced and complete, and both the office area and the sightseeing facilities are well planned. Standing in the observation hall, you can have a panoramic view of the magnificent scenery of Shanghai and the prosperity of both sides of the Huangpu River, giving people a shocking visual experience. It can be called an architectural masterpiece.
The Shanghai World Financial Center is a super high-rise integrated development project located in the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Center area of Pudong New Area. It was designed by KPF Architects of the United States and Miyake Design Office of Japan. The building has 101 floors above ground and a total height of 492 meters. It was once the tallest flat-topped high-rise building in the world and is now the second tallest building in Shanghai. Its design inspiration comes from the concept of "integration of heaven and earth", which "interprets" the high-rise building as a link between heaven and earth. The main body of the building is a square column, which is formed by two giant arched slopes that gradually narrow upward and intersect at the top. The square prisms and large arcs intersect with each other, highlighting the vertical height of the building. In order to reduce wind resistance, the original design has a giant circular wind tunnel opening at the top of the building. Later, the wind tunnel at the top of the building was changed from a circle to an inverted trapezoid. The sightseeing facilities of Shanghai World Financial Center are located on the 94th to 100th floors. The 94th floor observation hall is 423 meters high, the 97th floor observation bridge is 439 meters high, and the 100th floor observation sky pavilion is located at a height of 474 meters. It is a 55-meter-long suspended observation corridor with three transparent glass floors, providing tourists with a unique panoramic city experience. In addition, Shanghai World Financial Center has set up two wind dampers on the 90th floor (about 395 meters), each weighing 150 metric tons. Sensors are used to measure the degree of shaking of the building in the wind, and the direction of movement of the dampers is controlled by computer calculation to reduce the shaking of the building caused by strong winds. Shanghai World Financial Center is not only an office building, its B2, B1, 2 and 3 floors are shopping malls and restaurants; 7-77 floors are office areas; 79-93 floors are hotels. In addition, it is an important cultural and social venue, hosting many important events and exhibitions, such as the "Disney Life: Mickey's Amazing Journey" animation special exhibition and the "National Geographic Classic Image Feast" exhibition. As a comprehensive building integrating finance, commerce, culture and entertainment, the Shanghai World Financial Center has become one of Shanghai's landmark buildings, attracting tourists and professionals from all over the world. It is not only a part of the city, but also an important force driving the city's development.
Very good, the environment is very good, very comfortable, this is the only good place I have ever been to relax physically and mentally.
The building in the shape of a “can opener”. I was looking forward to going to the observatory which is free admission. Was told it was temporarily closed until further notice. Quite disappointed.
One of the famous three-piece sets in the Lujiazui International Finance and Trade Zone in Pudong, Shanghai, is the second tallest building in Shanghai, commonly known as the bottler. The sightseeing floor above is great. It overlooks the Bund scenery of Puxi and the diamond spire of Jinmao Building.
