    Beautiful, easy hike

    Spent the day on bass harbor. Minutes from the lighthouse, you will find this easy hike. Spent an hour+ cruising around and looking at the beautiful scenery.

    Part of Acadia National Park, it is not far from Wonderland, another hike down to the ocean shore. Ship Harbor is more wooded. I have done both of these many dozens of times in my life as my family ...

    Best trail on west side (non-busy side of island. Path through woods to shore. The inlet is nice place to walk on the rocks.

    quiet, peaceful, beuatiful

    We walked this trail after dinner. A woodpecker was working away at a fallen log for his dinner. The sunset cast a soft glow on the rocks. A special spot.
