If you want to climb the mountain, don't choose the ticket package explained by 3.5 hour. After getting off the bus at Tianwaimen, wait to climb to Nantianmen by yourself. Red Gate to Yuhuangding walk for three and a half hours. Due to winter, the red door to Zhongtianmen process is not so ornamental. Basically, all the way is steps.
