Freedom Square is the absolute center of the west bank of the Kura River. The towering statue of St. George slaying the dragon shines with golden light even on cloudy days, overlooking all living things. With this as the center of the circle, there is no need to deliberately plan the route. The streets in all directions can become an excellent route for exploring the city.
The weather with sunny skies all day seems to wash away anyone's melancholy. Even in the middle of summer, the breeze makes the hot summer mild and pleasant. So far, I really like it here and I also like to continue to stay.
Many years have passed in a blink of an eye. Finally, I had the opportunity to live in Tokyo for two or three weeks because of a business trip. This beautiful and well-designed work area in the downtown area brought me the best work experience so far.
We took the subway three stops to Freedom Square, where the subway and the Baku Metro are the same ticket system, each one-way 0.5 GEL, equivalent to RMB 1.3 yuan. It's cheap enough. Freedom Square belongs to the downtown area of Tbilisi. The square was built in the 19th century under the rule of Russia. Originally it was called Eriwen Square. In the Soviet era, it was renamed Lenin Square. After Georgia's independence in 1991, it was renamed Liberty Square. The statue of Lenin in the square has now been replaced by St. George's dragon slaughter column. The tall column under the blue sky and white clouds seems to announce the changes of history in this country. The buildings around Freedom Square were mostly built in the Russian and Soviet times, including the Tbilisi City Hall, the Georgian National Gallery of Art, Marriott Hotel and so on. Near the square is the old Georgian city that existed before the 19th century. In the evening, we said goodbye to the fortress, walked through the old city of Tbilisi in the dark, hiked for more than half an hour, and then returned to the bright Liberty Square. The scenery we saw now was quite different from that under the blue sky and white clouds in the afternoon.
Freedom Square can get off by subway at Liberty Square Station. In the center of the square stands a huge column, the golden statue of St. George slaughtering a dragon. The whole square is mainly a driving ring island. A building near the square, which is similar to the city hall, approached and saw that it was only a shop. There is a tourist center here, which is convenient for consultation of all kinds of information.
Freedom Square also known as Liberty Square has a beautiful monument that compliments the breathtaking historical scenery of Tbilisi Georgia. Georgia is indeed a hidden Gem.
Visit the "Lingnan Harmony Garden", which is located in Beijiao Town, Shunde District, Foshan City. The garden, with its scenes of gathering in harmony, Yueyun Liufeng, and Shuiyue Songfeng, together presents a picture of Lingnan water town life with mountains, rivers, streets, and people. The quaint pavilions and towers in the garden, although newly built, show the cultural heritage and confidence. The whole yard is not very large, but there are mountains and waters. It has borrowed a lot of classical garden architecture, small bridges and flowing water, as well as Cantonese color, paper-cutting, puppet shows and other cultural elements. It is worth a visit.
