This free museum is worth the stop
A great museum for the whole family. Open on weekends and provides history of the Pikes Peak area, from gems to history of the frontier days. Home of two of the largest quartz in North America.
Knowledgeable volunteers and worth a stop
We stopped here on the recommendation of the park rangers at Florissant Fossil Beds. We felt like it was a step back in time when we walked into the little museum. The displays are thoughtfully presen...
