A valuable museum that traces John Manjiro's life
Original Text
I took a closer look at the exhibition and proceeded. It was a polite exhibition that gave a glimpse of the life that John Manjiro followed by. A volunteer guide at Cape Ashizuri recommended me and visited, but it was good to visit. I went there just before the closing time, so I couldn't see the exhibition at the last one, so I would like to visit again.
John Manjiro's life was explained in chronological order in an easy-to-understand manner. It's a more dramatic life than a drama, so I was drawn to the contents and read the commentary. What impressed me with the exhibits was the English handwritten by Manjiro. I think you will come to the museum with the intention of reading a biography.
You can see the history of the United States and Japan at the end of the Edo period, John Manjiro's turbulent life, in a chronological exhibition. You can go around comfortably and enjoy the large parking lot.
It was like a new museum. John Manjiro is exhibited in chronological order. There were many things I didn't know about after drifting, and it felt like heh. Recommended for people with intellectual curiosity.
A museum that introduces John Manjiro's life. There are also explanations of whaling methods in the late Edo period, black ships, and the American Gold Rush. However, it is not so interesting because it is mainly a panel exhibition.
