Very poor service at the Base Cafe. Cold place and drinks not hot No cakes on view to choose from. No serviettes.
We went one morning for coffee and cakes. It had all changed since our last visits. When we went in I could see the tables were laid for meals. Ii asked the man st the counter if they just did coffee...
A hidden gem!
Lovely little park with a choice of places to eat! We stayed close by and had a lovely wander around the walked kitchen garden. There is a restaurant within the park and next door a cafe that supports...
Nice visit to Sir John Barrow Monument
Lovely park, just popped in on the off chance and enjoyed a good walk to Sir John Barrow Monument. Nice place although park was closed. Recommended.
Shakespear in the Park
attended an outdoor performance in this park on a summer's evening - lovely surroundings - lighthouse up on the hill - would have loved to explore more and will do so in future.

We attended a Naming Ceremony at Ford Park. The ceremony was stunning. Unfortunately they were very short staffed in the function room. Only one member of staff was running the whole event. She work...
