The teleferico is not working
Unfortunately the teleferico is not working more. The government should keep operating this attraction. The lake view should be awesome.
Is not WORKING!!!
It is 40 minutes. It is in a popular place. I felt it insecure. It is not working. It is dirty and is not a nice place to go. Don´t spend time traveling it is not worth it.
We were lucky!
Visited Amatitlan and to our surprise the teleferico was open. Great views of the lake. You can see the efforts to restore the lake's health. At the top you can find a park with nice trail to walk and...

Lots of fun, amazing views. This is a nice way to see Guatemala and meet its people as this is an attraction for the locals as well.
