Beautiful location
This historic castle is just at the edge of the town and is easily reached for a walk. It is free to wander and there are magnificent views out to the water. Goose Tower was closed on the day we visit...
I have been living here for 20 years now, and the ruins is a good place to visit. It’s for free to take a walk there! You can easy park at the harbor for free, and walk there.
I was a bit disappointed when we visited the ruins. A small exhibition inside, not worth the money. I only liked the goose tower. You can climb it to the top and enjoy the view.

Beautifully conserved historical castle
The ruins of Vordingborg Castle are very beautifully conserved and definitely worth a visit. Especially the "Goose Tower" is very impressive.

Danish medieval history
The "Goose Tower" (Gåsetårnet) is the most famous of the sights at Danmarks Borgcenter / Vordingborg Slotsruiner. The tower is nicely preserved.
