Open air museum
Open air museum on main road- free to wander and enjoy. The signage isn't great so I left wondering what some stuff was. If in town it's worth a look and doesn't take too long to walk around.
Was vlosed for renovations but could still see a few things through the window. No indication of when it would reopen which reduces the reasons to make an overnight stop. Maybe only visit for a couple...
Well worth a visit to learn about the history of this interesting area. There are many parts to this museum including an outside area with examples of missiles trialed after the war.
You will do this place in a couple of hours. If you're interested in the Cold War and the relationship between Britain and Australia at that time then it's very interesting. One of the museums is stil...
My husband was in seventh heaven looking at all the different planes and missiles. The exhibits were clearly displayed with a brief description of each one.
