Sirou Ancient City Site

The ancient city site of Sirou is located on the platform in the northwest of Sirou Village, Ganga Township, Xiahe County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat in the south. The main city is square, except for a 4.3-meter section of city wall in the north, the rest are high earth ridges, 197.4 meters long in the east, 222 meters in the west, 183.6 meters in the north, and 208 meters in the south. The roof is 0.90 meters away, and it is built with clamps. Only the south has a city gate, and there are no city gate facilities on the other three sides. The main city is an overall palace complex on the central axis, and there are still remnants. There are four white marble raspberry column bases on the site, with a diameter of about 68.5 cm, as well as a large number of remnants of pottery pieces, bricks and glazed decorations. Or think that this city is the "Yigong City" in the Northern Song Dynasty, which is the relic of the city construction of the local government of the Eastern Tubo Suluo in the Song Dynasty. It is said to be the ruins of an ancient temple.
