Amed consists of several small seaside villages, which are far from the hustle and bustle of the city and can enjoy the quiet and leisure, but it is not developed and the infrastructure is relatively limited. Amed's coastline is great for snorkeling, live coral polyps and schools of fish can be seen in the Jemeluk Reserve, and around Selang there are coral gardens and a variety of colorful marine life.
