Have I ever been to a restaurant in my life where the experience has been this bad? Have I ever seen many tables around us suffering in similar angst? Was it just a bad night for the restaurant or is this the normal? We arrive at 530 pm for our 545 pm reservations before the play: The King and I. We were seated promptly. The menu was Thai. Appetizers were bland. It was 630 pm when we started seeing other tables getting worked up, since the play was at 7 pm. We started asking for our food. They were scrambling and there was no organization. The waiter pointed to the manager who pointed to kitchen manager. Tasteless food arrived at 6.49pm. We nibbled and horsed some down and barely made it to the play downstairs. $150 bucks down. My advice: eat outside and then go for the play.
