The International Museum of Surgical Science is affiliated with the International College of Surgeons, and the place seems a little eerie, with amputations, iron lungs, and all sorts of creaky objects from the early Gold Coast mansion trade. Real surgical instruments are immersive, and medical art is on the rise, from a life-size statue of Hippocrates to a room full of drawings of corpses (and postcards). The exhibits spanned Chinese and Western medicines, attracting many tourists.
