The Streets of Kaleiçi: The Soul of Antalya Kaleiçi is Antalya's old town, but its true atmosphere lies in its alleys. Here you'll find a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, Ottoman houses with bay windows, bougainvillea, cats 🐈, and coffee shops ☕ in the shade of ancient walls. Which streets are worth exploring? 🗺️ Hesapçı Sokak — the main one: hotels, cafes, galleries, shops. Kılıçarslan Sokak — quieter and more authentic. Uzun Çarşı — shopping: spices, fabrics, souvenirs. The alleys near Hıdırlık Tower and the Old Harbor — views of the sea and sunset. Mini-route ✅ Hadrian's Gate → Hesapçı Sokak → Kılıçarslan Sokak → Uzun Çarşı → Hıdırlık Tower → Old Harbor. Allow 2-3 hours for the walk. The streets of Kaleiçi are an open-air museum. The best way to get to know them is to wander aimlessly, take wrong turns, and drink coffee in the courtyards.
