Several days before departure, I began repeatedly packing my suitcase, even leaving several scribbled notes by my pillow, just in case I forgot any small personal items. Finally, as I boarded the flight to my destination, gazing through the window at the layered sea of clouds, my excitement soared upwards with the wings. During check-in, the receptionist handed me a room key with a subtle fragrance. The moment I opened the door, I felt completely relaxed. Beside the soft bed was a small bottle of local fragrance, and drawing back the curtains revealed a soothing view. Even the water temperature from the bathroom faucet was just right, gently catching up with the fatigue of my long day. In the days that followed, I didn't have to rush to check the clock on my phone every morning. I would leisurely finish the hot breakfast prepared by the hotel and then wander out according to my mood. Sometimes I would stroll along the stone-paved paths, stopping at stalls selling snacks to take a bite. The sweet and fragrant taste would spread in my mouth, and even the wind blowing across my cheeks would feel soft and warm. Sometimes I would chat with strangers I met on the road, listening to them tell a few local stories. Before I knew it, I had wandered into a hidden gem of scenery. There was no rush of a schedule, no pressure to take photos, and even sitting by the roadside for half an hour in a daze felt like pure joy. Returning to the hotel in the evening, the staff remembered my favorite hot drink and brought it to me at the perfect temperature. Leaning back on the terrace chair, watching the sky gradually darken and the distant lights slowly transform into a gentle sea of stars, I thought back to every corner I'd wandered through these past few days, the unexpected surprises, the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves, the lingering aroma of food, and every relaxing little detail in the hotel—all these became the softest memories in my heart. I realized that the happiest trips aren't about rushing to many places, but about being able to completely let go of all worries in unfamiliar surroundings, immersing myself in relaxed and fulfilling joy every single moment. Even as it was time to leave, my heart was filled with reluctance, and my suitcase was packed with souvenirs collected during this trip, each one a reminder of those sparkling, happy moments.
