Usually, on weekends or holidays, I prefer heading to the hills or mountains, staying in simple places where fancy brands don't matter. But for this trip to Chandigarh, I spent three nights at the JW Marriott, and I must say, it was a very good experience. The place has a quiet, understated comfort to it. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—honestly, just what my back needed after a long day of walking around. As a Malaysian, food is always a priority for me. I decided to try their Lahore-style dinner at the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The spices and flavours were rich and authentic, a nice change of pace. What I appreciated most was the attitude of the staff. They weren't just doing their jobs; they were genuinely helpful and gave me some practical tips for exploring the local markets and temples nearby. In the evening, sitting out on the terrace overlooking the city lights was a peaceful way to end the day. Sometimes, stepping out of my usual rustic routine for a bit of comfort is not a bad thing at all.

Hey guys! Usually, you'd find me hiking up some mountain on my days off, but this time I ended up in Chandigarh for a bit of a different vibe. And honestly? I found the perfect place to wind down. I stayed at the JW Marriott Chandigarh for three days, and man, I really didn't want to check out! The room is super spacious with this really nice, low-key design—nothing too flashy, which I personally love. After walking around all day, falling onto that super soft bed was absolute heaven. For food, their restaurant is amazing. You seriously have to try the Lahore-style dinner, the flavor is just spot on! Also, the staff here are incredibly friendly. They practically planned my afternoon for me, giving me the best local tips for exploring nearby markets and temples. My favorite spot had to be the terrace. Just sitting there in the evening, watching the city lights with a warm drink... it’s so peaceful, ya. Really helped me clear my mind.
