Sky Lagoon

M.M.R. Maruf
Sky Lagoon offers a breathtaking geothermal spa experience with stunning ocean views. The warm, mineral-rich waters, combined with the unique seven-step ritual, provide ultimate relaxation. The infinity-edge design enhances the feeling of serenity, making it a must-visit in Iceland. The facilities are well-maintained, and the ambiance is both modern and tranquil. While it can be pricey, the experience is truly worth it. Perfect for unwinding and soaking in Iceland’s natural beauty.

Hallgrimskirkja

Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral in Iceland is a very monumental church. From the outside, it looks very simple and elegant. According to the locals, this church was built for about half a century.

Reynisfjara Beach

Incredibly beautiful beach with amazing cliffs, birds (Atlantic puffins) and rock formations. Nature at its best. Also a Game of Thrones filming location. Car park costs 1000isk (pay online) and there is a small cafe/restaurant.

Vik Town

Highlight 1: Black Sand Beach The black sand beach with huge waves is said to be the place where the trolls are sealed. In its dark series, there is also a gentle part that blends in with it, perhaps the red of the sunset. Walking on the beach, rubbing against the black sand and stone, making a "sand sound", even the goose soft stone is in the shape of love for you. I wait slowly and enjoy this process. The sunset sets in the west and falls on the coastline. The door to the island in the distance seems to be opened. The rolling waves, black sand and white foam, and the red sunset make this ancient lava flow pure and naturally formed columnar joints and natural Reynisfjara more mysterious. Highlight 2: Church The red-roofed church in the town is considered a landmark building in Vik. It is nearly 90 years old, but you can see its full view by climbing halfway up the mountain. It is backed by mountains and faces the sea. In the distance, you can also see Reynisfjara standing on the coast. Highlight 3: Dyrhólari The road leading to the top of the peninsula is quite bumpy, so drivers need to be careful to avoid it. At the end of the top platform is the Dyrhdlaeyjarviti lighthouse; there is also a coastal rock cape (a unique arched door) which is also called the island gate. It is a good place for bird watching in summer. Standing on the Dyrhólari peninsula facing the sea, you can overlook the Vik black sand beach and Reynisfjara on the left bank; on the right bank is an endless coastline

Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon Island (ICELAND) is one of the wonders of the world and you will get unforgettable experience. Recommend going about evening and it's quiet, and you get to experience it in the light and the dark, along with the sunset. Will get a good experience.

Fagradalsfjall Volcano

avatar
Marianna86
Fagradalsfjall volcano erupted in 2021, creating this incredibile lava field in the Reykjanes peninsula, in the South western side of Iceland. There is a short hike to this incredibile site, however, it is wiser to go there with a guide, as accidents related to gases and heat might occur. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking, overwordly.

Akureyri church

Akreli is Iceland's second largest city, but it looks like a small town. The cathedral in the city center is not big, but the architectural style of the church is very Icelandic, located on a small hillside, the scenery is not bad.

Akureyri Botanical Garden

avatar

One of the northernmost botanical gardens in the world, the garden is home to more than 2,000 species of flowers, plants and trees transplanted from all over Iceland and other countries. However, this is also the smallest botanical garden I have ever seen. If there were no signs, I would probably think it was just a street garden. To be honest, it doesn't even feel as big as the city parks in my great city, not to mention the country parks. It's not at the same level as the botanical gardens we understand. Of course, the good thing is that it is open to the public free of charge. If you live nearby, you can take a stroll around before or after dinner. It's still pretty good.

Iceland Eastfjords

avatar

The East Fjords of Iceland is a group of about 10 fjords, each of which has a village or town. The population is small, but the scenery is beautiful and magnificent, and there are many wild animals, which is well worth a visit.

The farm shop is really beautifully arranged, with a touch of grass tone, like the wind gently floated, plus the development of a variety of surrounding products, it is comfortable to see. I like it because it is warm and not colored, and the incense is not strong. Perhaps it represents a melancholy and quiet, a feeling of attachment and nostalgia, and now it has become a fashion pursuit, huh, huh.
