Geopark Merangin is a nature tourism that very popular among tourists in Jambi due to the attractiveness of flora fossils for 350 million years old in it.
The views of the old fossil in this Geopark is really amazing. The fossil flora that available in this place is really give a very interesting travel experience. Moreover, we can do rafting along the river to challengee the adrenaline.
To go to the location of Geopark Merangin, you can use two access. The first is by walking around the forest on the outskirts of the river and it takes for about 3 hours walking.
The second is by downing the river. This second access is considerably more interesting than the first one. You can do rafting to reach the exact location. Although it is considerably more fun, but it takes guts, power, and more cost to visit this Geopark Merangin.

Taman Nasional Bukit Tigapuluh is a hilly region in the middle of the expanse lowland at the eastern part of Sumatra, and it has high potential diversity of plants and endemic animals.
Initially, the area in this national park is a protected forest and limited production forest. However, the condition of the forest park is relatively unspoiled.
Its not recomended to go there without a local guide. We need special Permit to enter the area of the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park.
Sumatran elephants prefer this flat terrain, but also threatened species such as orangutans, tigers, which are extinct in many other places, are native to Bukit. The remaining forests are also home to indigenous people who depend on forest products.

Berhala Island, One of the hidden paradises on the unspoiled North Sumatra Island. So not many people know about the natural beauty of the island of idols. Although the island is very small, it turns out that there are settlements. They live on the beach in a floating house, and some live on the edge of the forest bro. The forest there is a very good root forest to support the fertility of the sea around the island. make sure the attraction of Pulau Berhala is in the beauty of the sea which invites many rescuers. The divers were amazed by the charm of the coral reefs of Pulau Berhala. Intertidal Coral Reef is one of the famous coral reefs there.
Berhala Island is on the outside of the Malacca Strait and also part of the Riau Archipelago which is also one of the islands in the outermost part of the Republic of Indonesia. When viewed geographically, this island is even closer to the island of Java than to the famous island range in Sumatra which is always the target of tourists.
The size of this island which is only 2.5 hectares makes this island look smaller than other islands. But don't get me the wrong, you don't have to doubt the beauty of the Island of Idols. You will see an island full of forests and surrounded by beautiful beaches there.
