₦4,000 (US$3) for suya? What is suya even? And why “university”? I genuinely thought it was a school! Turns out the University of Suya is one of Lagos’ most famous suya spots, where people line up for freshly grilled beef covered in a mix of spices, onions, and pepper. I paid about US$3 for my meal, and I completely understand why locals kept recommending this barbecue street food spot in Lagos.
