Avoiding Lingao's famous fishing ports, follow the coastal country road to reach the tranquil, pristine Caiqiao Beach. Reddish-brown volcanic rocks stretch along the coast, the shallows are soft and fine sand, and at high tide the waves gently caress the rocks. At low tide, the mudflats are exposed, where shellfish and small creatures inhabit the crevices. Local fishermen set sail at sunrise and return to shore at sunset, accepting both good and bad catches with equanimity. In their leisure time, they sit in the shade of casuarina trees, chatting idly, unburdened by temporary gains or losses. The entire coastline is sparsely visited by tourists, with no street vendors, preserving only the most authentic fishing village atmosphere of the west coast. The sea breeze carries a faint salty scent all day long, and clouds drift freely across the blue sky. In our growth, we become accustomed to being strict with ourselves, magnifying our shortcomings, often caught in internal conflicts, and easily judging others by our own standards, finding it difficult to tolerate differences. There are no perfect people or things in this world, just as coastal rocks have their own textures, and waves come in varying sizes; every form has its own meaning. Sitting on the rocks, listening to the sound of the waves, try to forgive your own shortcomings, understand the choices of others, and stop constantly fighting against yourself and the world. As the sunset paints the sea, your heart softens and becomes clearer. Only by understanding how to forgive others and accept yourself can you reach a state of self-harmony. Let's try new tea with newly kindled fire, and enjoy poetry and wine while we're young.
