Route & Experiences: Start at the Breheimsenteret visitor centre for safety tips, then drive or walk up to the lake. Hop on the fun boat shuttle across (May–Sept) or hike the lakeside path to the glacier’s edge—both routes are breathtaking. Guided glacier walks (book in advance) let you crunch across glittering ice and peer into mysterious crevasses—unmissable for adventure-lovers.
