Take a leisurely stroll through the intricate wooden alleys, where traditional buildings rise against misty peaks and corn piles brighten the scene. Start your walk from the town gate and wind towards the main square; along the way, stop to sample hearty Sichuan dishes at local restaurants tucked in centuries-old structures. Don’t miss the “corn corner,” a top spot for instaworthy photos: stand in front of golden corn heaps while catching those ornate wooden facades in your frame—especially on a sunny day! Photo tips: The best light is midday if it's clear; rainy mornings add cool atmosphere. Get close-ups with the corn, or shoot wide-angle to include mountains and sweeping rooftops. Look out for dramatic weather! Personal tip: sunny spells make colors pop, but clouds give moodier shots. Drone is allowed to be flown here Visiting tips: Wear comfy, closed shoes—watch out for donkey droppings on the winding lanes (they sneak up when you’re distracted by the scenery!).
